It’s Official: I have an Etsy Store!

I’ve had enough interest in my art to make me think people might actually want to own some. 😀 So, I created a store on a site y’all have probably heard about: Etsy.com.

I started this novel awhile ago and I want to get back into it. I’m having trouble getting into my characters heads, however. I thought that by sharing it with you, my wonderful blog followers, I might trip the circuits in my brain into thinking about John & Jane again. Any feedback would be appreciated! If nothing else, I simply enjoy sharing what I write…someday someone might even give me money for it. 😉

You might have noticed a lack of writing lately. For good reason, I promise. I’ve stepped away from the novels for a while to let my muse chill out. In the meantime, I revitalized a latent talent I remembered from younger years – painting. I still have a lot to learn but I’m having fun and people seem to like it. Yes, I’m writing again!! 2,000 words into a new novel currently titled “18 Days”. Writing from a first person MALE POV. Not easy for me but it seems to be flowing well. Wish me luck!!

OK, to be fair, there’s the whole edit, refine, fluff, blah blah blah to do. But the thing is DONE. Written. And I’m pretty doggone happy about it!!

Novel Thoughts: A Short Blog Break

During the month of November I probably won’t be on Eccentric Randomness very much. There’s that whole National Novel Writing Month thing going on and my writing skills are needed on that. But, if you’re missing me, you can check out my “Novel Thoughts” blog. Over there, I just drop quick thoughts as I go through the process of writing a full novel in 30 days. It’s a simple way for me to journal the process and not feel like I need to add images or styling or anything.
